South African Chess Professional League is an initiative to promote the chess talent in South Africa. The primary aim is to provide chess teams & clubs with a platform to parcitipate, demonstrate, and thrive in the game of kings. The game is a beautiful artwork that is nothing less than a playground for ample learning and development. It is widely popular and is extensively loved across the nation. Even so, it is observed that less and less people want to pursue chess professionally. A multitude of people indulge and excel in chess, but less than a fraction is willing to entrust their future to the game.
Mutually beneficial partnerships are hardwired into SACPL's DNA and are a part of its founding ethos. We believe in the power that comes from deep incollaboration between the right partners and the transformational value of chess to effect meaningful social change.
SACPL champions collaboration ith sports of chess by leading tournaments that enhances commercial confidence. We builds capacity through our programmes and is shifting the paradigm for the future of partnerships between diverse stakeholders.
South African Chess Professional League has envisioned to bring an equilibrium in the current global chess scenario. The idea is to revolutionalize how chess is perceived as a profession, strengthen the game presence in South Africa, and increase the visibility of the chess talents nationally and internationally.
SACPL/ South African Chess Professional League is accepting applications from all RSA clubs to join a new league.
Chess Clubs get the opportunity to play chess and showcase their skills on a national level with other chess Clubs and members.
So, SACPL affirms allegiance to nurture chess talent in South Africa. Each challenge or tournament in SACPL is attached with a monetary reward, which will encourage young talent to pursue chess as a career besides commencing a movement to make nationwide chess dominance a reality.
